What is on Show?

Exhibitors have a wide variety of categories to choose from, including:
• Careers – a stand dedicated to informing and advising our upcoming youth on a wide range of
tourism-related fields;

• Market – this stand is an initiative to encourage exhibitors to market all manner of home
products, compost to fresh and preserved food; ToGOTo promotes Going Green with organic
gardening;

• Book stand – an extensive range from tourism-related reading to cookbooks will be on display;
a selection of the books will be discussed;

• Audio visuals – on travel and tourism; a facility will be provided where exhibitors may, at a
nominal fee, present their products on screen.

• Destinations – trends are changing; people are taking shorter cheaper holidays more
frequently. This is the ideal platform to offer your low season specials, or introductory offers, or any other offers and specialties; where To GO, to stay, to do etc.;

•Art and Craft Market – a new type of tourism is emerging - sustainable, environmentally
and socially responsible. Tourists have become insistent on value for money. The art exhibition
will showcase South African talent.

• Re-cycling and Conservation – responsible tourism is becoming more popular as a type
of travel where tourists choose to interact with the land and its various cultures in a sensitive way, for instance, staying at establishments that minimize their footprint and support local economy and culture. Various initiatives will be on display, providing guidance to product owners who wish to comply.

• Hospitality service providers – the ideal platform to network, reaching those establishments situated in the remoter parts of the country
